Ann Ellison Bennett
Artist Ann Ellison Bennett learned how it fells to be broken but blessed following a freak accident in the spring of 1998. A sledge-hammer from an oncoming truck crushed through the windshield of her vehicle leaving her with a shattered right arm. She vividly experienced God's presence which carried her through the ensuing trauma and provided her with prompt assistance.

During the on-coming months of rehabilitation, Ann continued to experience the touch of God in many ways. Being right handed, she had to re-learn new ways to perform daily tasks. With God's help, the challenge of "south paw" painting was achieved. Through her sister's encouragement, she first accomplished watercolor painting then ventured back into oils.

During the healing of her broken wing, Ann has flown to new heights and greater depths in her painting. From a blessed new perspective she has used symbolism in a peaceful scene and inspiring floral to give deeper meaning to her works, expressing on canvas many truths learned. Each painting has been completed while God has been slowly restoring her right arm in His perfect timing.
