"About 30 miles form Wood's Hole, Massachusetts off the Cape Cod coast is an island called
Nantucket. For years this has been our family's favorite vacation spot, and I've become very
interested in its history. After seeing 'The Nantucket' now and again in old photos, the hotel perked my
attention. It sparked a desire to re-create this old Victorian beauty and bring it to life on
canvas in its beach setting - along with a crowd of fun-in-the-sun folks."
