"Sshhh...We were as surprised as anybody to find this little critter snoozing in a suitcase!
Looks like Mabel the Stowaway makes a hobby of finding interesting places to nap.
Perhaps she's dreaming of the purr-fect getaway.
In putting your suitcase on the bed for packing, if you have a cat or two, they
will be drawn to it like a magnet. This has been the case for us as we've had cats.
This common occurance promoted the idea for this painting. In this particular situation,
Mabel has been sleeping for quite a while, and it seems she has snuggled herself in for
a long trip, if only in her dreams."
