Helmet of Salvation

"And take the helmet
of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God."--- Ephesians 6:17
"For he put on righteousness as a breastplate, and an helmet of salvation
upon his head." --- Isaiah 59:17
"But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate
of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation."

The Bottom Line
The helmet of salvation guards our minds, for the battle against the
enemy is in the mind. The helmet of salvation also assures us of two things:
- We will have eternal life in heaven.
- God has a special plan for us.
