American artist
Beth Yarbrough has been painting since she was a child, and her talent for creative design has taken many forms throughout her career.
With a young family to feed, she and her husband, Joe, founded a wholesale giftware company so they could spend as much time as possible with the children. The company successfully marketed Beth's sculpted designs for many years. In 1996, they began an art licensing business, and since that time, Beth's work has become a favorite of consumers in many forms including wallpaper, bath coordinates, fabric, kitchen textiles, and decorative accessories.
Beth Yarbrough's formal training consists of nine years of private instruction in drawing and painting. From her garden to her studio to her kitchen and all points in between, Beth is never far from fresh ideas for her work. She continually finds inspiration in the rich North Carolina landscape that has been home to her ancestors since before the American Revolution. Her family, friends, hobbies, travels, and pets all play an important role as well. Laughter abounds in her home and Beth's work is a constant reflection of her whimsical personality. Beth says,
"I believe that all talent is a gift from God, and I am blessed to be allowed to share what He gave me. If, through my work, I can bring a smile or a laugh into someone's day, then I consider that a small gift given back to Him."
