"On Quilted Wings" is the name of a new series of prints from Carolyn Blish. In the
world of a child, something as simple as a quilt becomes a passport to other worlds - worlds
where Carolyn will take us in future prints.
To start the series, Carolyn portrays a child whose quilt has provided company on the
way to sleep. Carolyn says it this way: "Carried off to dreamland on quilted wings of sleep,
a slumbering child evokes trust and innocence."
Carolyn Blish has always been able to communicate the special way that children act,
