"The cat in Pole Cat
was abandoned on the road near our ranch. She must have
spotted the barn and hoped for some shelter, a little food, and a friendly
face. After doing many kitten and cat paintings, I've learned something about breeds of cat. With
her delicate wedged face, tall ears, and long, flat coat, I think this cat probably has a little
bit of Angora in her.
Soon after she joined us, my sister fell in love with her and took her
home, where she has now lived a long and easy life. May the fate of more
abandoned animals be as happy!"
