A faint trickle of cool spring water breaks the silence of the forest as it gently glides over the
rocky creek bottom. The pale moon begins its Evening Ascent into the
deep blue sky illuminating the delicate spring leaves with its soft white rays. Standing in the
shadows a mother deer raises her ears, alert and attentive, as her tiny fawn enjoys a snack of fresh green
clover. As the moon climbs high into the heavens its beams shine through the fork of a large
oak tree and descend to the ground below bringing a delicate glow to mom and her baby as they savor the comforts
of the forest. |
