The warm glow of the streetlamps reflects off of the wet cobblestones. The streets are alive as people
tend to their days business. As a young lady and her daughter pause to admire the beautiful bouquets
in the Wilson's store, a young lad calls to the passers-by to purchase their evening post. The day is
coming to an end as two children gaze from the window awaiting their father's return home from work. All through
the streets the clack of carriage wheels and the coo of pigeons fill the cool, damp air as the gentle
showers continue to fall. |
