meeting with President George Bush, provided an opportunity to experience some of the same emotion which he captured
in his painting, An Evening with the President.
The original, now in the collection of the United States government, was issued as a time-limited edition print by
Somerset House in Ocotber, 1990.
An Evening with the President has been selected by the U.S. Secret Service and
the Smithsonian Institution for their Christmas cards and will also appear on the cover of a new book published by
The Preservation Press in observance of the White House's 200th anniversary. |
