This print comes with a spectacular signed and numbered reproduction of a frame that
James C. Christensen commissioned and helped create for his original painting. This hand-finished frame bears a permanently affixed identification
card that is signed by the artist and correspondingly numbered. "It's based on a Renaissance tabernacle frame," Christensen says, "because I
wanted to extend the art beyond the painting."
This glorious frame features six Christensen-designed angels, and the Latin words inscribed along the top and
base mean "come, come, let us rejoice. Make safe the heavenward road." Each titled frame is finished with hand-applied metal leaf and
is produced by Due West Furniture. |
