Pray in Agreement
Please feel free to
submit your prayer requests to us so we can come into agreement with you; for Jesus says in Matthew 18:19:
"That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven."
Ask According to His Will
Remember, anything we ask of God the Father in Jesus' name must be
"according to the will of God" (Romans 8:27) and be in line with His Word; but we must not
"ask amiss" when we pray (James 4:3). For the Bible says in I John 5:14-15:
"And this is the confidence that we have in him, that,
if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us. And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him." Sometimes, saints,
"we [simply] have not because we ask not"
(James 4:2).
Remove Hindrances to Prayer
However, if we
"regard iniquity [sin]" in our hearts, the Lord certainly will not hear us (Psalm 66:18). Jesus said,
"And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses. But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses" (Mark 11:25-26).
Now saints, putting aside all unforgiveness in our hearts (Matthew 18:21-22),
"let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need"
(Hebrews 4:16). Furthermore,
"be anxious for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let our requests be made known unto God"
(Philippians 4:6).
Continue Steadfastly in Prayer
"Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer" (Romans 12:12).
"And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them? I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?" (Luke 18:7-8)
Believe by Faith
Remember,
"without faith it is impossible to please him [God] and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him" (Hebrews 11:6).
"Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them" (Mark 11:24).
God told Jeremiah:
"Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?" (Jeremiah 32:27) So by faith,
"call those things which be not as though they are" according to Romans 4:17 and patiently tarry for His answer.
Please know that I count it a great privilege to submit your needs before the Lord in
prayer.
"But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19).
